Inspired by a poem from Hafez:

“I am devoted to the spirit of one who, under the azure sky, Is free from anything that takes the color of attachment.”

Creative Process This piece embodies the boundless liberation found under the vastness of the heavens, as envisioned in the poetry of Hafez. The designer has masterfully woven Nastaliq calligraphy into the fabric, inviting the viewer to contemplate the profound verses. The interwoven teal and purple hues evoke a cosmic twilight, representing life’s complexities and earthly attachments. Against this celestial canvas, the horses—symbols of the soul’s powerful journey—are rendered in varying colors, each having broken free to gallop toward its own freedom. The circular repetition of the Persian letter “و” (Vav) suggests a radiant celestial body, a star of enlightenment shining through the spiritual darkness.

Ultimately, “The Azure Sky” is an invitation to release the attachments that weigh down the spirit, allowing it to soar freely in the boundless expanse of its true self, much like a bird in the endless sky.

العملية الإبداعية تُجسّد هذه القطعة التحرر اللامحدود الذي يُحتضن تحت رحابة السماء، كما يصوره شعر حافظ. نسج المصمم ببراعة خط النستعليق في القماش، داعيًا المتأمل إلى استيعاب عمق الأبيات. تستحضر الألوان المتداخلة من الأزرق المخضر والأرجواني صورة الشفق الكوني، الذي يمثل تعقيدات الحياة والارتباطات الدنيوية. وعلى هذه اللوحة السماوية، تظهر الخيول—كرمز لرحلة الروح القوية—بألوان متباينة، وكأن كلًا منها قد تحرر لينطلق نحو حريته الخاصة. أما التكرار الدائري لحرف “الواو”، فيشير إلى جرم سماوي مشع، كنجم من التنوير يسطع ليخترق الظلام الروحي.

في جوهرها، “الفلك الأزرق” هي دعوة لتحرير الروح من القيود التي تثقلها، والسماح لها بالتحليق بحرية في الأفق الشاسع لذاتها الحقيقية، تمامًا كطائر في سماء لا نهاية لها.
