Poncho — The Azure Sky Inspired by a poem from Hafez:

“I am devoted to the spirit of one who, under the azure sky, Is free from anything that takes the color of attachment.”

Creative Process In “The Azure Sky” design, Nastaliq calligraphy lines are creatively used to invite the viewer into a delightful challenge to decipher the verses. Like a puzzle, but with the difference that discovering each piece of this puzzle opens a door to the magical world of poetry. The use of teal, purple, and azure hues is inspired by the term “azure sky” (چرخ کبود) itself, and their combination with the brown color imparts an authentic feel to the piece. The circular repetition of the Persian letter “و” (Vav) evokes the sun and horses, a fantastical image that serves as an apt description of a liberated soul, signifying that, according to Hafez, no seal of attachment holds sway over it.

“أنا عبدُ همّةِ ذاك الذي تحتَ الفَلَكِ الأزرق، مُتحرّرٌ من كلِّ ما يقبلُ لونَ التعلّق.”

العملية الإبداعية في تصميم “الفلك الأزرق”، استُخدمت خطوط النستعليق بأسلوب إبداعي لدعوة المشاهد إلى تحدٍ ممتع لفك رموز الأبيات. إنه يشبه الأحجية، ولكن مع فارق أن اكتشاف كل قطعة من هذه الأحجية يفتح بابًا إلى عالم الشعر السحري. إن استخدام درجات اللون الأزرق المخضر (التيل) والأرجواني واللازوردي مستوحى من مصطلح “الفلك الأزرق” نفسه، ومزيجها مع اللون البني يضفي على القطعة إحساسًا بالأصالة. التكرار الدائري لحرف “الواو” يستحضر صورة الشمس والخيول، وهي صورة خيالية تُعد وصفًا مناسبًا للروح الحرة، مما يدل، بحسب قول حافظ، على أنه لا سلطان لأي خاتم من التعلق عليها.
